Privacy Policy
Effective: October 16, 2026 · Applies to the ReadyRepRepeat Android app
The short version: your workout data lives on your phone. We don't run accounts or servers for the app, we show no ads, and we never sell your data. The only things that ever leave your device are anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (both optional), and — only if you ask for it — a copy of your workouts to your own Google Sheet.
1. Data stored on your device
ReadyRepRepeat is local-first. Your exercises, routines, logged sets, rest-timer settings, and preferences are stored in a database on your phone and nowhere else. We have no access to it. Deleting the app (or clearing its data) permanently removes it.
2. Google Sheets sync (optional, at your direction)
If you connect Google Sheets sync, the app uses your Google account only to read from and write to the spreadsheet you choose, using Google's official APIs. Your Google credentials never touch our systems — sign-in is handled entirely by Google on your device. Your workout data goes to your Google Drive, not to us, and we cannot see it. You can disconnect at any time from the app's settings or from your Google account's third-party access page.
3. Anonymous analytics (PostHog, optional)
To understand how the app is used and where it can improve, the app sends anonymous usage events (for example: the app was opened, a workout was started, a set was logged, a tab was viewed) to PostHog, our analytics provider. These events contain no personal information and never include your workout contents — weights, reps, exercise names, and notes never leave your device. No advertising or cross-app identifiers are collected, and events are never linked to your identity. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy.
4. Crash reporting (Sentry)
If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report (device model, OS version, and diagnostic information about the crash) is sent to Sentry, our crash-reporting provider, so we can fix the bug. Crash reports contain no workout data and are not linked to your identity.
5. What we don't do
- No accounts. The app has no sign-up, no login, and no user profiles.
- No ads. The app contains no advertising and no ad trackers.
- No sale of data. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
- No location, contacts, or other device data. The app does not access your location, contacts, photos, or files outside its own storage.
6. Data security
Any data transmitted by the app (analytics events, crash reports, Sheets sync) is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Data at rest on your device is protected by your phone's own storage encryption and lock screen.
7. Children's privacy
ReadyRepRepeat is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change — for example, if optional cloud features are added in the future — this policy will be updated and the new effective date noted above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
